Vanney Associates is an architectural firm specializing in retail, office and hospitality design and construction documents. Our architects hold Architectural Registrations in all 50 United States, Washington D.C. and 5 Canadian Provinces.

We have over 50 years of combined experience in Architectural and Interior Design. Since 1987, we have planned over 2000 retail stores, as well as over 16 retail centers, 25 restaurants, 14 office buildings, 26 multi-screen movie theaters and 50 office space plans. Our emphasis is on architectural and interior design, which is appropriate to our client’s marketing and merchandising strategies and goals. We have the capabilities to design a prototype look specific to each client or take an established prototype design and fit it into a new location. We also have in-house Architectural and Interior Design capabilities to plan and produce projects as well as select finishes and furnishings. We know how critical it is to produce the design and working drawings in time to meet deadlines. Our staff is well versed in retail design and the production process, and will use the latest versions of REVIT and AutoCAD for your construction documents.

We work closely with our clients, each city, leasing agent and/or the landlord so the design satisfies everyone's design criteria. Over the past 30+ years, we have worked in cities throughout the United States and Canada and on properties owned or managed by Cadillac Fairview, General Growth, Westfield, Forest City, DeBartolo, U.I.D.C., Taubman, Homart, Mel Simon, Rouse, Trammell Crow, EMC, CPI, JMB, as well as many others.

Our experience as architects and interior designers provides clients with insights and design ability normally obtained from two or three separate firms. As Registered Architects we can provide services for site planning, adding on to an existing building or designing a new shell structure to house a new project as well as design the interior.

Vanney Associates can also arrange Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and Structural Engineering Services through a network of consulting engineers who specialize in national retail design services. These consultants hold registrations in all 50 states.
